The staff is very pleasant and they know their stuff. They care about their clientele and the humans attached to them. I'm so glad I found them when I was looking for a vet for my kitten. I feel like we're both in good hands!
We have used the Topsham Veterinary Wellness Center for the care of our two dogs for about 18 months and are extraordinarily pleased with both professional level of care and personal service. The vets are through yet gentle in the exams. Staff are welcoming when you arrive. Billing has been accurate. The vets make follow up phone calls regarding the condition and progress of the dogs.
We used to bring our dogs to a different vets office and we were never greeted by the staff like we were at Topsham Veterinarian. The minute we walked in we were greeted with smiles and happy people. It was an enlightening change. We are so happy we changed offices and will continue to go there. Even our dog was much happier which made her appointment much easier. Lastly I had never seen a doctor kneel on the floor and let our dog kiss her. Dr Morisette went above and beyond to comfort our dog and we noticed right away of her love of animals. Other vets seem too busy to bother or they just don’t like animals as much and should take up a different line of work. We loved it there and from now on it’s where we will go for all of our pets needs. I very highly recommend you check them out, you and your pet will be glad you did.
They are so good with my 2 cats and dog at performing wellness checks, vaccines etc all the while making the vet visit as low-anxiety for the animals as possible. And I learn from them and feel as though their exams are a little more complete than my prior vet. (Maybe just because they communicate what they are doing! Like checking the cat's thyroid! So cool to learn about!)
Walking into the Topsham Veterinary Wellness Clinic feels more like visiting family than entering a business. The staff are positive and welcoming and the atmosphere is full of warmth and genuine interest in the animals. Although the clinic is always busy, Dr Amy and all her staff are patient, knowledgeable and generous with their time: a visit never feels rushed. Their focus on animal wellness, rather than only illness, is rare and something I value very highly. My dogs and I could not be happier with this clinic!
